Music for wind in the willows

Music for wind in the willows

2012-06-16 by markpringnz

I did this sometime last year, it's one of Woolly's from the 1980's I think might have been intended for TV but I don't think it was used. I did several versions using tron samples and string synths but on listening to them I was a bit surprised to find that this was my favourite version.

I am pretty sure it is the old 3 violin tapes as I haven't had the M300 rack on the tron for ages, I could be wrong because I usually am.

This is what I got for $1400 if 3 violins or $2100 if m300a.

Can I have my money back?

Only joking

Mark

PS This is a little ambient ramble on the Korg M1 plugin, the M1 must have been used a lot of over the 80's, I think if I ever saw one going cheap I might buy one.

Mark,

I enjoyed listening to both tracks. Thanks for sharing...

Robert

Took a listen. Pretty sure it's not the MkII/M400 violins. Sounds like one of those M300 violins, but I'm only judging off of M-Tron.

Keep posting!

Thanks for the encouragement Sean, the more I think about it the more I think they could be samples of my m300a violin tapes. I'm pretty sure that rack wasn't in #1565 when I recorded that piece, but I had sampled it by then. I'm still not quite sure.

I'd argue M300 too, if that's any help!
