The Mellotron Group

Hey guys,

Those of you looking to buy a machine I just heard about this one on the Combo Organ 
Yahoo group I also belong to.

It's in Georgia and the ad is on Harmony Central

This on sounds like it's got problems but he only wants $1500!!!!!!!

i think just the red platic cap on the power switch
is worth AT LEAST $1500!

wasn't someone going to look into having a batch of
those manufactured a couple years back?

it does look a bit rough, but as we know, it CAN
be revived. another lazarus-o-tron in waiting?

Is that a CMC-4 controller in the photos of the back
of the unit?  Unusual.

  In any case, someone bought it already, 'muff,
spraypaint and all.  If I lived in GA, I sure
would've.

Boy that one is old. Looks like serial # 154. Wish I had got it I don't  have 
any time to work on them. I'm hoping to finish the one I have and then  
concentrate on my family and business.

John, I have to admit the thought of a road trip DID
cross my mind.  Gettin' tired of this Colorado cold. 
To quote John Goodman in "Raising Arizona"- "I love to
drive!".  Alas, the 'tron was marked as sold when I
brought up the ad.  Dammnnn...

Here's something interesting from the guy that sold the Tron. A friend of  
mine contacted the seller and this was his reply.
 
"Sorry, it's gone. Sold it to a local guy who happens to be Springsteen's  
keyboard tech.  I guess Bruce wants one for himself."
