ATR Magnetics

The great debate - Order new old stock 1/4" GP9 reels from ebay or try the ATR tape.

One ebay vendor called his GP9 reels "fresh". They turned out to be freshly erased. )-:

Has anyone tried the new RMGI (Emtec 900) tapes?

Off Topic Repair Request

2011-02-04 by william Beith

Through eBay I sold a Studio Electronics MIDI MOOG to a fellow in Milano Italy, which of course arrived damaged.

Do any of the European members know of a service tech close to Milano who can repair and calibrate the Ocs. board in a Mini Moog?

Thanks.

We now return to your regularly scheduled Mellotron programming.

Thanks

Bill

Try emailing the PFM webpage and asking them...they're long time Moog users

I have roughly 700 reels of NOS 1/4" Quantegy 967 1650' Library of Congress Mastering Tape (classic Red Reel 7", real good stuff). We have gone all flash so I am selling it off.

However.

If you are on the list and want a few reels, depending on where you are (lower 48 US) I can just give them to you I can cover the postage.
