M400 #328

2010-11-17 by Charles

Hi gang- I came back to see what's happening in tron land. I had M400 328 for 25 years.....any of you folks ever run across that unit? Dave Kean sold it for me to a guy in New York someplace...I had an Anvil ATA case for it with wheels and wouldn't you know ...the freight company shipped it to him upside down.(back in 1997) Fortunately I had removed the tape frame. Also Dave told me shortly after I sold it that the power supply died and the guy got a new one from Sweden.
I was just curious if any of you knew who had it or if it's still running. I had all of Dave's updates and refinished the cabinet...plus a new tape set (which someone else got)
thanks

Charles

Charles,

Are you interested in:

A. Only knowing where it is

B. Visiting it

C. Reacquiring it

D. Laughing at the current owner.

Frank

It's like wondering about an old girlfriend, Frank...you don't necessarily want the relationship back but just curious how she's doing. :)

Well, I think it depends on the former girlfriend, doesn't it? ;-)

yes if she was always having breakdowns and was unreliable. But then some just work perfectly from the minute you turn them on.
