Was it an M400 on the right of stage at the beginning?
I am not going to watch it again to check. Once was
enough.

Never let it be said that I don't care about the
location of a mellotron. I switched the sound off and
watched the video again, and I think that there is an
M400 in the wings on the right at the beginning.
Unfortunately? no one plays it.

Responding to the last sentence: If you can find the song that
precedes it one of them probably does. Right at the beginning, as they
are all changing positions, dude in the leather jacket gets up from
the beast.

I just checked all the other songs I could find from that same
recording, and couldn't see any that used it. Perhaps he just checked
it out between tunes.

I recall seeing America back in the early 70s with a Mellotron on stage.
They never played it. I also saw Shawn Phillips a couple of times live back then
and he had one onstage both times. Again, it didn't get played. I'm thinking
that they probably were having problems with them. I know Shawn used one on
his records.
