The Mellotron Group

Hi all-
  Shawn Colvin did a brief bit of "Wichita Lineman" in the middle of her live song "Wichita Skyline".  Very appropriate.
   The verse "and the Wichita lineman is still on the line" always bugged me.  Sounds like he's listening in on a conversation.  What is he up to?

Nice, thanks Dave;  learn something every day.  Had no idea JT or REM covered this.  Please don't tell me Slayer covered it.  
 
It's a rainy day where I am.  Going to go mess around with this.  I can hear an arrangement with 12 string, M400 cello and flute for the melody.  I can't sing at all.  Need to finf my son for the flute part!
