Sadly, the Ethos I saw had only Michael Ponczek on keys live as Duncan Hammond had left the band. As I recall, Ponczek live, played the Chamberlin (although I had no idea what a Chamberlin was in 1978 or 9), Polymoog, Mini Moog and probably a B3 and Rhodes and guitarist Wil Sharpe played an M400 on occasion. I remember speaking to Wil after the gig about the Mellotron as I was a fanatic for anything Mellotron related in those days. Nice guy and great band. The second album was fairly tron-less. -----Original Message----- From: newmellotrongroup@yahoogroups.com [mailto:newmellotrongroup@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of James Parthun Sent: Wednesday, January 13, 2010 3:13 PM To: newmellotrongroup@yahoogroups.com Subject: RE: [newmellotrongroup] Re: [Mellotronists] Re: Jasun Martz's "The Pillory" That's the first time I can remember anyone mentioning Ethos on this list! Great band- saw them live back in the day. Vance *(friends of the Mellotron list) That would be hard to deny. In a message dated 1/13/2010 12:44:03 P.M.
