I've been watching a lot of old movies lately, and I'm starting to think that it's harder to find a movie from 1940-1965 that DOESN'T have Novachord in it. It's used just like modern synths today, to fatten up sonic resources. I'll notice a string section here, woodwinds there, percussion - did you know the old NBC "A-F#-D" was a Novachord? Or the Conelrad A-A-F three-note alert? Anyway, there's a Novachord group on Yahoo! that could really use some chatty new members. Applicants are invited to visit http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/novachord/ and join today! --- In newmellotrongroup@yahoogroups.com, "markpringnz" <markpringnz@...> wrote: > > Watching Ben Hur on DVD and noticed extensive use of novachord in the soundtrack. Is there a Planetnovachord yet? My wife says I can't have one but hoping to use it as a bargaining chip for future keyboards. > > Happy new year > > Mark >
