I've been lurking silently on this thread. I had no idea this instrument ever existed. I've been looking around on the WEB for other info. For anyone else like me who is new to this, start here and browse. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2puK4Z967kU Fascinating stuff. They are all intact and in generally good condition. I'm missing about a dozen tubes total, so three are complete but none are playable, too many dangers in firing them up without a lot of internal work. One has some water damage to the wood exterior, but the other three are in fine shape and one of them appears in the companion DVD to the 40th anniversary release of "Pinocchio," so it was pretty enough for Disney! --- In newmellotrongroup@yahoogroups.com <mailto:newmellotrongroup%40yahoogroups.com> , "ClayE" <ecclesreinson@...> wrote: > > You have four of them Jon? That's a different instrument at the Hollow Sun site, too. Freshly restored in the UK. I have 2,000 pounds of Novachords sitting in my storage room right now... > > >
