Bernie/Jerry - it's quite bizarre - at that price, as a first time purchaser, I'd be much more inclined to continue to save my funds and make the purchase of either a MK VI or M4000 and know that I've got a working machine, clear of any uncertain and undetermined restoration costs. In my humble opinion, once you get to a certain price point, you're better off going all in and purchasing the next level up.
