I always play my 400 through a nanoverb. Little box sits right by it. Works fantastic and a little reverb smoothes out some of the self noise it has. It really is the butter on the edges on my Mellotron sound. Alesis & others do have other units for similar prices that may give much more flexibility, tho. While the Nanoverb is mono/stereo in & stereo out, the reverbs are strictly mono. They sound spacious (I had a favorite or two), but the stereo kicks in with some of the chorus & flanging effects. There's no readout to easily show you your setting - you have to look at the knobs to see it - which you'd likely find in a bigger unit, & may eventually find useful. > > But if your just looking for a little "space" for your 'tron, & probably not going to "foolaround" too much with it, ANY Alesis unit, including the Nano, will do a FINE job.
