My mistake, Jason, it seemed like it. It sounded slowed down a bit. One impression I did perceive from the music (and I may be wrong again) was that the sound of the 'tron was intended to be just that: a mellotron. Not a specific orchestral instrument or imitation. I like that. It creates an eerie atmosphere. -Bruce D. ________________________________ From: Jason Wielispach <capnreverb@yahoo.com> To: "newmellotrongroup@yahoogroups.com" <newmellotrongroup@yahoogroups.com> Cc: "newmellotrongroup@yahoogroups.com" <newmellotrongroup@yahoogroups.com> Sent: Friday, July 20, 2012 6:52 AM Subject: Re: [newmellotrongroup] Some mellotron stuff 1/2 speed? I've never tried to do that. The only thing it's going through is am Alesis rack reverb. Sent from my iPhone On Jul 20, 2012, at 1:17 AM, Bruce Daily <pocotron@yahoo.com> wrote: >Nice stuff, thanks! It's a free improv piece that features the strings and choir on my set of tapes I bought from Markus Resch. The piano sound is my 70's Yamaha CP-30 electric piano. > > >http://soundcloud.com/soutrane/3-audio-track > > > =
