I've got an XK3 (not an XK3C). It's very solidly built, sounds great through my Motion Sound Pro-145 and feels like a Hammond should feel. It uses "long samples". Of what, I don't know. Maybe a B3? I've been wanting to try an SK1 to see if it can replace my current setup so I can save a little room in my tiny studio. I think the organ sounds are pretty good, the piano and other voices less so. I think I'll hold on for a Nord Electro 3. I did buy a new keyboard recently, would you believe a Casio SA-46! I love it. > > Mark > > > ________________________________ > From: Mike Dickson <mike.dickson@...> > To: newmellotrongroup@yahoogroups.com > Sent: Sunday, 10 June 2012 6:51 PM > Subject: Re: [newmellotrongroup] Building Instruments > > >  > On 10 June 2012 00:26, Hammonddave <hammonddave2004@...> wrote: > > > > > >I love that video....  When products were proudly made in the USA by proud craftspeople.  Now we have "Hammond Suzuki"...  > > > > > Do you think it's impossible that "Hammond Suzuki" are proud of what they do too? >
