One night I got knocked off my motorcycle on the way to work and my bike was wrecked. The insurance payout got me the M400.. and I still have the bike.
Ah, the things we do for love.

I thought it might be Southwest Technical Products Corp (SWTPC), but after looking through what was available online, I didn’t see anything like this. If it was a kit, then there was probably an article in Radio Electronics or Popular Electronics, as was the practice in many cases back then. You’re not thinking of PAIA, are you? They were from Oklahoma though, but are still in business, I miss those inexpensive kits, although even $79.95 for a 100 watt amp was a lot of dishes washed at my after school job. A lot….
