With all the recent chat about keyboards that make mellotron sounds, the Memotron isn't top of anyone's list but watching The Kills on Letterman, it can be used effectively. I say it's all about how the keyboard is used. The song, the arrangement and the mix.

The big debate about which sampler sounds best and which one sounds the most authentic I don't care much about. It seems there are about seven good ways to do mellotron stuff. Lots to choose from. Lucky us.
