The Mellotron Group

The original design had a  rewind mechanism identical to a Chamberlin M-1 
(e.g., reverse spinning "capstan"  - shown one of the Mellotron Archives' 
videos).  By the time I tried  out the J-Tron, this had been modified to use a more 
efficient  spring-loaded wheel that Justin said he wanted to further  refine.
