Hi: I have a Wiggler from Macraigor that came with a Triscend (8051 embedded + FPGA) SCoC Dev Kit. Does someone know if it would be compatible (may be configuring an internal jumper...) with Crosswork (from Rowley) or Keil Debugger? Thank in advance... Gus

Are you sure it was a Triscend 8051? They also do an ARM system, which comes with a Wiggler, IIRC. Or, perhaps they have JTAG on the 8051, also. I think Triscend was recently bought by ARM, BTW. It will probably be OK. The other Wiggler versions (they all have the same basic PCB) are for PowerPC etc. You could just try it and see if it works. Leon -- Leon Heller, G1HSM Email: aqzf13@... Hi Everyone, I build myself a wiggler, I used the schematic from sobellinni, but I used a 74HC244N, put 5v on the VRef. I configured my board, but OCD Commander says the cable is disconnected, ocdlibtool connect on a certain configuration of the board (but actually not the right one) but I get al kinds of errors. Is there something wrong with the schematic, do I use the wrong chip/voltage, or do I use the wrong software? Regards, Theeuwke

And, I use a BC576C for the Transistor. What do you use for voltage on the 74HC244 ? (pin 20)

(pin 20) It should be supplied from pins 1 and 2 on the 20 way header that connects to the target board (3.3V). Leon

I put some little program on the board to enable the JTAG port (i have to use the second), but when I try to do something in GDB it is still complaining that the processor is still running. 2nd; OCD Commander is still saying he can't find a wiggler. Here's some information about the configuration of my board: http://www.ashling.com/support/lpc2000/knowledge_base.html I use this board: http://www.ashling.com/datasheets/DS266-EvKitLPC2000.html Regards, Theeuwke

That looks like the cause of the problem, DBGSEL should be high to enable JTAG debugging. It has an internal pulldown resistor. Leon

Also remember to disable the on-board debugger. Hi Have you checked your Parallelport settings. Only EPP mode will do with wiggler, not ECP mode. best regards John
