I don't know much about the pin levels you asked about, but I wanted
to make sure you know that the new 2103 has a much more favorable
power profile. The added new power-down modes and they turn off some
internal modules when they're not needed. No USB, but they can be very
attractive for battery operation. And they're cheap!
