sorry I mistook Dhrystone/seconds (on your results) for DMIPS. My results are after dividing it by 1757. Then it looks like I have seen better numbers using GCC. And 49 DMIPS with SDT -- is close to 54 DMIPS advertised by Philips. I remember verifying my results against numbers advertise by ARM a year ago & it was close enough.
