Hi Rolf, as we try to improve our devices naturally the newer devices have some new and better features. If we wanted to replace the existing devices the new devices would be pin compatible. The LPC210x, LPC211x and LPC212x devices have been out in the field about 1 year longer than the LPC213x and many designs have been made with those, there is absolutely no plan to step away from the existing devices in favor for better but not 100% compatible ones! Compatibility is king. LPC2130 style devices with CAN? Quite likely! We will announce when we are closer to deliver. First comes the LPC2140 series with USB (device). We need our little secrets as well to surprise you every now and then ;-) Robert --- In lpc2000@yahoogroups.com, "rhpascaldodo" <rh@e...> wrote: > > Hi friends, > > because there was no response of my last question, here is a new one. > > In some publications the LPC213x series are introduced as the new > standard series. Is this correct? I'm sure :-) > So when can we expect this new chips, datasheets etc. ?? > > Rolf
