The Logic Off Topic list

I want to get some clean samples of this machine or the oberheim dmx as
well. I actually already have some samples of these machines from a cdrom
full of drum machines samples 'dance mega drums 01' or '116 electric drum
machines'.
But to get a similar sound on the hihats as what I frequently hear on record
requires a ridiculous amount of eqing.
My bet is that the samples I have are very poor in the high frequency area
IOW very dull sounding. Hopefully someone can help. I would post this on the
higher populated Logic list but it is definately OT.
