Hi Ed, you didn't mention the OS so I assume you're formatting FAT32.

I generally use 32K clusters for the audio drives.
The DOS format command looks like this:
FORMAT D: /Z:64

And use 8K clusters for the OS/system drive.
FORMAT D: /Z:16

Been doing it like this for a long time, what options do you have, are you
using formatting software?

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
