It's certainly not as dramatic as the difference between 8 and 16, but for me it's the sonic equivalent of "good" vs. "great." And I felt that way with my first 24 bit experience, which was moving from the mediocre 16 bit converters in a CardD plus to the mediocre 24 bit converters in a Frontier Tango 24.
