Subtle resets after mod

Subtle resets after mod

2004-04-07 by Júlio César

Hi

Sorry about my english...I'm from Brazil...

I've done a "mod" partially, based on the archives i've found here...
i've changed the cutoff trimpot for a external knob (maybe i'll do
the other one for ressonance this weekend), and now my polly
sometimes turns off while i'm playing... I wonder if its related to
the mod itself, or if is another problem with my polly800 mk2, maybe
the AC adaptor, for an example... ...I've noticed that it happens
ramdomly to some patches...

Did somebody had the same problem? I think i'll undo the changes and
make that "moogslayer" mod, to see if works...

Hi,
maybe (just an idea) it's a kind of short-circuit, when you turn your knob to one side?
Does it switch off when you have the knob in the center position?

Thanks for the feedback...

No...I´ve checked if there are any mistake in the connections, but
everything looks ok... even in the "center" position... maybe is
related to frequency, or voltage on the circuitry, because i´ve
noticed that are other malfunctions than that, like subtle detuning
too... I think it needs a doctor...lol
