poly800 mk1, suddenly the patches are gone (my fault I think)

Howdy, I'm getting my mk1 ready to sell and yesterday I decided I needed to try it with
new batteries (since the power adapter input has always been broken since I got it). well,
today i got the new batteries but when I turned it on - although there is a very solid power
- the patches are all wiped. it had been sitting without batteries overnight.

it is a mk1, so apparently I can't send sysex to it which is not very useful is it.. I get
basically no sound except patches 18, 28, 38 etc all play a variation of the same wavering
tone at an octave up each notch.

and looking at the settings for the patches that will actually make a sound, they have
bogus information in them.,. like parameter 2 (waveform) set to 3, etc..

is there any way to init the whole patch bank? any ideas on how to get this in some sort of
sellable condition? i guess i should have just left the old batteries in it, as it was full of
good patches yesterday :(

The .wav format banks are a hit! I'm happy to see that the tape input works. Not sure
whether my buyer will want to deal with this, but I'm glad that the board is not fried :)

This is the firsrt time I have used this style of data storage since my ti994a!!!!!

So then while we're at it, anybody want to buy a Mk1 ??
