Midi Crash

Midi Crash

2003-11-03 by jbsepia

Hi!
i heard somewhere that a poly 800 could crash and lose its data if
you connect it to a computer (midi out from computer, midi in the
poly 800), is anyone currently doing this? what are the results?
thank you very much.

At the bottom of the Yahoo_email page ( that i assume you are staring at, in order to
read this message ? :) you'll find a GROUPS to click on........inside that page is a
"Join a Group" entry box .... type KORGPOLYEX once into that page ,you may
have to actually 'join'......once a member, then you have access to the Files area
and many other goodies......but you will mostly find Thousands of messages relating
this and other KORG Poly800 phenomenon ..... most helpful, i have found. I put into
the pictures area some programming aids I developed for us all.....Enjoy
Dan

Not a REAL member. But until then let me tell you: it's not anything
to worry about. The Korg does not crash but ONCE IN A WHILE may
lose its data(reacting from something coming in along midi line?)
then I just reload. With me it's a simple tape load. It may not
happen at all if you find source of what sends it. I could go months
or more with it not happening.
