Korg Poly800/EX800 Users

I don't know why I'm having so much trouble.....
They load, the display says "Good", I switch everything back to 
Disable, play a note, and I hear "WHhhhhooooooshhhhhhhhhhhhh" on 
every patch.

Is there an extra step??? Pressing "Save" etc doesn't do anything. 
It's no longer giving me "Err" but the patches still won't load!!!

Well.......thats progress.....maybe you'd like to share with the rest of us

how you got that far....! There is available in the FILES section , an USER

Manual that details the following.....( I'll shorten it some )

There are TWO Enable/Disable switches on the rear of the Unit......one is

for TAPE, as you already are aware, the other is WRITE, which has two

choices....one for the sequencer, and most importantly, the other for 

PROGRAM.......what is meant here is a MEMORY write enable, which of 

course has to be enabled to over-write current contents with a  replacement...

So you would need BOTH Enabled in order to refresh the contents of your

system memory......

So try that and see.......
