MessageThu Nov 5, 2015 2:12 am (PST) . Posted by: k9k9dogso you have to print each one individually? how long, typically,
for eg: a knob?
can you print in different materials? like, only plastic/a polymer?
can you overlay a 2nd matrial? (soz just ruminating. i love those
pots with rubber covering :) )
this is why i mentioned vacu-forming. i don't know what
thickness and rigidity can be achieved with that, though.
ie: if you could print in a heat resistant material, you might
only need to print once, and use it as template/mould.
-for other things, would not be relevant here.
you know how expensive it is to engineer metal moulds
for manufacturing, 3k+ for something simple, completely
impractical for anything like this, etc etc.Feel free to upload into the files section any sysex dumps and tape dumps of patches that you may have but please discuss (with the entire group) the posting of other files *before* posting them. This helps us to keep redundant information from showing up everywhere and also allows us to constantly improve the format and structure of the documentation. We talk about the HAWK-800 quite a bit but we also discuss and help owners of the original Poly-800 models. So don't be shy if you haven't got the HAWK-800.
