Korg Poly800/EX800 Users

Ok so apparently it powers on, and looks as lit should but there is no sound at all,

Is anyone familiar with this behavior?

Is it fixable?

Should I use the $125 as toilet paper instead?

I won't be able to view it or even talk to a "Synth guy (or gal)" who has, straight up gamble,

Opinions?

Does it send MIDI when you press a note?

Does it have any sound (hissing white noise) on the line outputs or the head phone out?

Any "whooshing" send when you first power on?

If there is any sound, can you hear any efx on the sound?
