As the keyboard of my Poly61 had lots of defective keys I needed a
MIDI-interface.
As all the solutions to buy were too expensive I decided to design my own.
It is a universal Midi-interface that sits in parallel with the keyboard and
simulates keypresses by
means of analog matrix circuits.

Compared with other midi interfaces for some other similar synths that generate
the keypatterns
direct it is more expensive but easy to adapt to other synths with matrix
keyboards up to 64 keys.
Only a software update is needed.

Too much. I think the name of mine was Poly 6?

The Poly 6 is another machine. Simply spoken you can say that the Poly 6
is the knob controlled version (so more interactive) of the Poly 61, that has a
quite ugly digital programming section where you have to enter parameter numbers
and then you can change the values per plus/minus buttons...

I have both of them and both have a midi retrofit inside...
