Korg Poly800/EX800 Users

Hey everybody , 
  
I 'm a proud owner of a Poly 800 since they came
out in the middle 80s and I 've been watching this
site for sometime now in the background .  I 've
learned some good tricks , patches & mods but I want
to tell you lately I 've been getting porno crap spam
thru this group . 
 
Its the same crap assholes thats been invade 'n &
sending crap thru another group I belong to MIDI
GUITAR GROUP on my YAHOO site now for 2 or 3 months ,
the same website assholes . I get 3 or 4 of these a day
now , same thing over & over with different headings
trying to get you to open them up to a pc virus !
  
What I want to say is I don 't want to see the samething 
happen to everyone on this group now .  Is there
anything we can do about these spam 'n punk asses . 
 
 You know , if one wants to get porno it 's really not
that hard to get . You assholes who are sending it ,
don 't have to invade people 's homes and try to shove
it down people 's throats who are not look 'n for it . 
The pc could be the greatest tool to use but there
seems to be some people who are just tools .

Below is what was sent to me today concealed in a 
korgpolyex group coat . It almost sounds innocent .
This is without any of the hardcore pictures sent 
but give them time .  They 'll be in your email 
before you now it .

We just went through the same nonsense in the LA synthesis group 
(Lugnuts), and we decided to open a new group altogether because the 
owner and mods were AWOL.  What really needs to happen is the mods 
and/or owners here need to become more active, patrol posts and 
members, and weed out the scum.  Otherwise, Yahoo is no help at all 
and regular members can do nothing about it. It's a good idea to get 
a handle on it now or the spam will just pour in.

I have to agree.  It's rather annoying.  What I do to combat this in 
my own little way is request no emails from any groups and then on a 
weekly basis drop by the groups and check out what's new.

hope this helps... I also use a hotmail account so I don't get 
anything sent at home.
