Sequencer won't run

Hello fellows,

I have Hawk800 with software 2.55. I know version 2.59 is out for a while but haven't tried it yet.

There seems to be a problem with advanced sequencer. I used it a year ago or something, and now wanted to try it again. However it won't run when I press START/STOP button, but rather seems to enter the editing mode, where STEP and START/STOP buttons move me back and forth one step. Pressing WRITE button leaves this mode.

I am sure I have set all the parameters correctly, like Global Parameter 43 to 16 and another one that sets internal clock for sequence operation.

Any ideas?

Check the sequencer enable/disable switch on the back. It should be set to disable.

Thanks Mike, I will check the switch.

Is there a place in documentation mentioning the switch (and probably other switches too? I have fiddled with them and got TAPE message at some point, I guess my knowledge about old an new functions is such a mess)

The sequencer enable switch still operates the same as the original.

The tape switch is not documented very well. I shall fix that.

Mike, thanks for the tip. My sequencer now works just fine.

When you have the time to update the docs, could you please check if SLFO3 and SLFO4 are the same as LFO3 and LFO4?

Yes, SLFO3/4 are the same as LFO3/4.

I shall check to make sure that the LFO's are all labelled the same in the documentation.
