Patches don't sound right in version 2.58

Patches don't sound right in version 2.58

2014-08-21 by mfaitkenjr@...

Hi, I just updated to boot version 1.98, software version 2.58.  The update seems successful after doing the "press bank/hold on startup" or something to that effect (can't quite remember right now) where the boot version appears then the software version.  I then loaded each of the banks provided on sourceforge in their respective bank numbers on the hawk.  The patches don't sound right like before, where each one now sounds like it's being modulated by an LFO.  I checked my controller and the mod wheel is all the way down.  Has anyone else experienced this?  Are these older bank files not compatible with version 2.58?

my joystick will glitch and make the vcf depth activate slightly.I think the dual/split pot has a bad spot in the carbon traces, or other mechanical issue.
I disconnected the joystick modulation connector inside the synth to keep it from mis firing the VCF lfo depth.

Forgot to mention that mine is a hawk+atomahawk'ed EX800.

I shall check into this. I had someone else experience the same problem and I had a terrible time trying to nail it down. It might be the patches being incompatible with the latest versions of code.

I shall check it out and see what I can come up with. Plus, I really need to release new patch banks anyway because I just released new code that has some parameters moved around again.

I would check that your global parameters are all set correctly.
