How to Modify MG LFO speed?

Hello.
I was thinking about if is this mod possible.
Can anybody help me?
I'd like to set different LFO controling MG insteat of original digital 15 steps one.
I thought about sending sequencer trigger to trigger my MG
So how to do this?
I suppose, that sequencer sends pulse wave clock trigger, so how to convert it to Sine / triangle wave?
Have sequencer to be running, or could i get it's trigger if sequencer is off?
I'm just a newbie in electronics, so anyone interested to try this?
PS: I don't want to use Hawk 800.
