There a multiple chorus mods, can some one fill me in please?

There's mods for the chorus on the JX-3P I think but you do have some digital control over it, so there's something you can hack into in the first place.

I have never heard of any mods to the chorus on the Poly-800.It's a very basic chorus. There aren't many things you can actually change that would give you any usefulness.

You could try the forms over at http://www.circuitbenders.co.uk/forum/

Hi, other thread went off topic. If anyone knows about mods related to the chorus on the p800, I would love to be filled in. Thanks guys!

from what i know about the juno60 chorus -which is largely derived from

making one in synthedit...- there will be some options/variations available

on 'depth' of chorus - this is the switch you get on a juno from 1 to 2 positions.

this one should be a triangle feeding the modulation in inverse amounts for each

side. then there's some filtering before it gets mixed back into the signal path.

there should be control over rate and depth at least.

chorus on the juno is a rich thing: i just listened to some really old soundtests

i did where there was just the juno chorus in the background providing a bed of

sound without any obvious notes, just a long chorus drone. would be cool to have

more control on Poly/EX.

There is a chorus mod in the archives on here.

If you can figure out how to use the search feature, there's one hidden in here somewhere...

I tried to search, but ever since Yahoo changed the format on the board, I can't find my ass with both hands in here anymore..  I cant even read some peoples post like Gordon's (it's just a blank like he's on a ignore list???)

Anyway, YES there is a chorus mod on  here somewhere.. it was a few years ago when it was posted if I remember right.. back when Mike was first working on the HAWK code.

Hey thanks didn't see that! In the files section there's a mp3 of a "chorus distortion" mod, but no instructions. These things are too nice for me to mess around too much, it wouldn't feel right with my limited knowledge.

http://www.matrixsynth.com/2010/08/korg-poly-800-synthesizer-with-many.html

this guy did the mods, no instructions though. The other thread wasn't quite clear enough to inspire me to tinker, I don't want to break my toy.
