Hi there, can some one fill me in on the chorus mods? From what I have seen there are two mods for the chorus?

Thanks!

In my opiniion for what it is worth I'd just try and find a Poly800 MKII the ddl on that is superb, loads of weird spaced out chorused sounds, well that is the reason we use them isn't it? If got original/EX800 put it through a multi-fx rack, any one will do and dirt cheap now try an Alesis or a Behringer or just put it thru your DAW but more fun with external hardware,dj mixer with fx anything, the synth sounds great whatever you put it thru.

Just to make you all sick, I paid £2 for an Alesis Nanoverb with its power supply at a local amateur radio rally...

Yeah that does make me sick, you annoying sod! ;) Good piece of kit,I spent a load of money on a psu for a midiverb 3, the rack was only £15 and in a right mess,it works though,ie had gone rusty on top (which I sorted) but the weird AC psu cost me £30 new,so not a bargain like yours,if you can get them regularly for £2 I'll order 4! lol

Get a 9V DC supply that you can get the screws out of, and remove the rectifier and smoothing capacitor. I did this with an old ZX81 power supply for my mate's Alesis HR16 some 22 years ago as quick hack to get him going an hour before an important gig, when we were at uni. Some 15 years later he sold it with the ZX81 PSU (appropriately labelled of course), and as far as I know it's still going, somewhere...

I'm not clever enough,I know basic electronics regarding psu's and taking old Atari ST's apart, sorry with ZX81 psu's I don't have a clue,I see what your getting at though, sort of.
Ah ha the HR16 (I preferred the HR16B) ,same psu as the MMT8 both great machines some people would say the MMT8 was the best hardware sequencer ever designed, including me probably although the Roland MC series was nice,so fragile though all of them.I have an SR-16 which must be the longest drum machine in production ever and yes that uses the AC psu.
