poly 800 II problem pitch bend

Hello i've just bought a korg poly 800 II for 50 euros :) but it has a problem that probably is pretty common as i've found on the web...
The pitch bend works on the left but not on the right way....... Do you know how could i resolve that?
An other question.... is it possible to transform the Poly 800 first series presets in the second series ones? i've found nice first series presets on the web.... or do you have any suggestion for second series nice presets?

left and not right?
you can try cleaning the pot with some HQ tuner cleaner, should fix it if its dirt.
if its not, hopefully a solder crack.
As for the series one sounds, there is a patchbook out there somewhere
on the net that has all the parameter numbers for each factory sound.
I don't have it with me, but I found it on the net after hours of searching every google result.. But remember,
the series one sounds ARE way more fun and usable in my opinion,
but in the poly 800 II, they wont sound very good at all because they depend on the
onboard CHORUS module of the poly 800 1 to complete the program. 
If you have an outboard chorus, like a Roland CE chorus,
and set it on a slow, 50% depth sweep, 
you could make them sound perfect though  using your POLY-800 II...

Your welcome...
I've been inside of the pitch bender assembly,
and there isn't any soldering in there, just a little X-Y axis springy thing
that connects to the little stick itself. so I think its the little
board on the outside if there is a break.

i really like the TAL, youre so right!
I thought if he's going to use it live though,
an inexpensive floor pedal would just be easier for him.
he could even just take the insides out of it and put it inside his
Poly-800 II.
Unless he's brings his DAW to the gigs...?

You're welcome!

In that case, I can totally recommend the Boss CEB-3 (bass chorus pedal). Has a Low-pass filter to stop the low end from muddying up with a wash of chorus, keeps the bass end focussed. Has just a mono input, but has stereo outs. Great pedal!
