If you mean does the moog slayer mod knob transmit CC, then no. With the AtomaHawk, the moog slayer mod becomes controllable by CC, so a controller with knobs or sliders, with one of the knobs or sliders assigned to the moog slayer's CC would act the way you describe. But the moog slayer knob installed on the keyboard itself is just an analog mod, so no CC sent...

I can vouch for both mods. I have them installed on my ex-800 and they work great. The one thing that I have to say about the sound that you may or may not like is that the digital steps of some filters can be heard on a fast sweep due to the type of pot being used. When you have a Moog slayer installed the sweep will be smoother because it is a fully analog mod. I actually like the sound, but there is an audible difference that is worth mentioning.

There is tons of functionality added and Mike stands behind his work. You won't regret your purchase.

Thanks for the information.

I also have an EX-800 and was deciding to buy or not to buy the HAWK mod.

My only concern is the difficulty level of the installation.

Any comment would be appreciated.

Hector

It's not that difficult to install if your are fairly good at soldering.

You just have to be very careful when removing the components from the Korg PCB and get yourself some good de-soldering braid and a solder sucker.

I am actually fitting one now and its not that difficult, just time consuming.
