Replacement transistors for Q1 and Q3

Replacement transistors for Q1 and Q3

2010-02-16 by scituate_mass

Hello,

I'm new to the group here, as I just bought an EX-800. All was working well until my power supply decided to start outputting -15 V instead of -9V. Of course, I discovered this after the unit stopped turning on.

I think that I may have blown out Q1 and/or Q3... not really sure. If anyone knows of suitable replacements for these two transistors, please do let me know.

Otherwise... I'm very happy to be a part of this group!

Thanks - DT

What about something from radio shack? Like the 7805?

Sorry if this is a silly question...just curious.

I cant get +5V on ping 6 like i need.

seems like my measurements stop at the collector of Q1

Cheers,

Nate
