I had a Hitachi dual cassette boombox which could record onto either or both channels, along with an external input, while dubbing over from the other side. by 1985 or so I had moved up to a couple of open reel units from garage sales. My keyboards were mostly reed organs and casio sampling keyboards. Once or twice I got to use one of those crazy home entertainment organs by Lowery I think. The kind with drum machine, effects, wah pedal and cassette deck built into one unit. My mixer was one of those 6 channel radio shack boxes with RCA and a few 1/4" jacks.
