Joystick knob

Hi Poly fans,

I am considering going to an injection molding plastics manufacturer to have a batch of Poly-800 Joystick knobs made.

How many of you are missing the knob from your joystick and would be interested in spending say - 5 bucks or so - to get a new one?

I think we should make them red, what do you all think?

And should we make the knob a little bigger? Rounder?

I'm interested in that. I don't think I would want it substantially larger or different than the factory one. Perhaps 1mm larger in diameter than the original would be ok. Red is cool! I would probably buy more than one since I have a few Korgs that would like it. -pc

would that be the same size for the dw-8000 as well. if so, i would definitely be interested..

What is the diameter of the DW-8000 shaft?

And what is the length of from the top to the shaft to the shaft where the diameter increases?

If they're the same then we could use the same knob. If they're different then maybe I can design a knob that fits both.

if i am reading this correctly (crappy tape measure)

Diam: a little over 1/16"
height of small part of shaft: 3/8"

sounds about right?
