The little midi file in logic has a small "x" near the start of it on the arrange page.....

Is that X for good or X for bad?

Thanks again

Its a slow process but Ill get there!

Ok the midi dump file tells it to go into dump mode so then you have to have to have your software ready
almost instantly to receive from the poly. Its nearly impossible.
So what you do is load the midi file (the dump request) in say cubase or logic and then set the librarian in record mode. Play the midi dump in your sequencer and have the sysex librarian in record mode and voila you'll see a file appear in the sysex librarian appear.
if this doesnt help hit me up (freqspec@...)
i'll see if i can go through it step by step as im in a rush right now
