poly 61 and poly 61m

2002-04-11 by scottbpm

hi

have any of you guys had any experiences with
the poly 61 or poly 61m ?

i reckon the poly 61m would be a nice addition to my
setup, it looks like can do some more stuff than
the 800's .

i'd really like a mono/poly , but theyre well expensive!

thanks

I hated the Poly 61. Crappy sounds, crappy layout. I own a Polysix (which
is sitting in storage). The Poly 61 was far worse than that. If the Polysix
were a bit thicker and had more modulation possibilities it would be nice.
It had a decent layout.

If someone offered me a Poly 61 free, I'd turn them down.

They are now! One of the bright things I did was to buy one at $175. I love
it. Now THAT is a brilliant instrument.

I have an EX800 and a PolySix. I love my polySix. You got to get
wild with the parameters but man, you can get some smoooth
sounds out of it...
