hawk v2?

hawk v2?

2008-07-07 by Atom Smasher

i'm wondering.... will the added functionality of the hawk OS run into a
brick wall when the poly800 display can no longer handle all of the new
parameters in a sane way? at some point will there need to be a hawk v2,
with a 2x16 character LCD?

HI Atom,

I am having so much fun keeping the display sane as you put it. I
don't think we'll ever need to go to the LCD display. And, I think
changing to LCD would change the character of the machine too much.
It's very early eighties look would be lost.

By the way, I took your suggestion that the displays would briefly
show the received parameter controller. It's working but with some
buggy code it has some unwanted results. Nevertheless, it works!

Mike.
