Korg Poly800/EX800 Users

OK, there was a logic bug in the LFO2 sync to MIDI so I have fixed
that and the latest code is on my website.

The EG3 MIDI/onboard sync re-trigger is not quite working. So ignore
extended parameter 38, it's not going to do anything - until I fix the
re-triggering.

But extended 37 now works as intended for both onboard and MIDI sync.
If you intend to use MIDI for LFO2 clocking then you must select MIDI
ext sync on (global 14 = 2).

OK, over the weekend (and in between scoring 102 on 18 holes, so close
to breaking 100), I tweaked the LFO2 oscillator code a bit more.

At this point, you can use the onboard sequencer clock to drive LFO2
so that it behaves like a super LFO. And you don't actually have to be
running the sequencer for it to work (same deal with MIDI time code
clocking). So it doesn't matter if the sequencer is running or not,
you can have your LFO2 slowly cycle according to the MIDI time code or
the onboard sequencer clock.

The result is you can sweep your VCF cutoff nice and slow to get those
lovely sweeps that we all like. When you combine it with a nice arp
style sequence it sounds great.

It sounds so good I am just going to have to post a youtube video of
it in action.

The latest code is on the HAWK-800 website ready for download.

You're absolutely correct.

What I should have been saying all along was "MIDI timing clock". Not
"MIDI time code".

My mistake, it won't happen again.
