Suggestion for new mod: MG frequency LED

Suggestion for new mod: MG frequency LED

2007-01-17 by hjulskov

Would it be possible to let the MG control a led, indicating the
current frequency -as seen on older synths?
This could be a cool mod -no influence on the sound though.

Sorry, but the MG frequency is determined by software so a flashing
LED would have to be a software upgrade.

But I will add that to my list of features to include in the new
software upgrade.

By the way, I successfully built the first half of my RAM and ROM
expansion board and have successfully booted up the board with the
original ROM. I just received some additional bits and pieces needed
to finish the board. So if I'm lucky, I'll have the time to try to
actually put more RAM and ROM online this weekend!

Thanks for your answer -I was afraid that the MG was generated in the
software. Now I know for sure.
Great that you consider implementing this in your upgrade.
