Korg Poly800/EX800 Users

if anyone has, or can get, a spec sheet for the NJM-2069 VCA/VCF chip
please send me a copy and/or post it to the files section.

i was asked, off list, about doing a new mod and this spec sheet will save
me a lot of time.

I have a paper copy, but I'm going away for two weeks and won't
be able to scan it before I leave. If you don't get one in the
meantime, give me a poke in a couple of weeks and I'll scan it
for you.

I'm salivating for a copy too.

And we'll then post it under our files section so that everyone can
get it in the future.

I've got an inquiry running with NJR (the original manufacturer) but
so far they can't find a copy.

Please get us a copy as soon as you can.

I just got word back from NJR and they do not have a copy of the data
spec for the NJM-2069. They said it was a special purpose chip
licensed to a manufacturer (Korg).

So I am now relying on you to get that baby scanned and posted. So
don't get hit by a bus!

Hi,

When I came to dig it out, all I have for it is a pinout and
block diagram. Hopefully it'll be of some use, but I'm afraid
it's not a full datasheet by a long shot. Sorry to get your
hopes up! I've uploaded it to the technical section of the files.

Hey Mark,

it's alot better than nothing at all!

Some other information that would be useful beyond your block diagram
and pin out would be the filter equations themselves.

But your contribution is enormous as it is.

Hi,
Having recently been looking for a NJM2069 I was
told that it was a custom chip made specifically for
Korg so I would imagine only Korg will have the
details which they probably won"t divulge.I managed to
get one from WD GREENHILLS website which specialises
in hard to come by parts ,manuals,service data etc.
While I"m at it does anyone know the cause of every
6th key not sounding on a Poly 800 I"ve replaced
i.c."s 34 and 35 but no joy
