EG routing + other stuff

EG routing + other stuff

2006-04-02 by austeritygirlone

As the schematics are annoying to read, I guess a lot. Please correct
me. Maybe is it possible, that someone who owns a real copy can make a
better scan of them. Maybe not converting them to b/w but greyscale
instead?

I've now done the Audio-In mod, replacing the noise source. But as EG3
also controls noise volume, EG3 now seems to control Audio-In volume.

So I thought about replacing the volume control for audio-in/noise on
the 2069 (selectable by a switch) either with a poti or a trimmer.
Does the noise amount (33) appear somewhere as voltage, before it gets
mixed with EG3?

Do EG1 and EG2 appear as voltage or are they only routed digitally,
since I've read that the Osc already generate enveloped signals? Maybe
it would be possible to use EG2 for Audio-In. While this wouldn't be
that great it could be more interesting to route EG2 to Res CV. If EG2
is used for something like this, maybe one would want EG1 to control
both Osc levels.

AFAIK the EG1 and EG2 don't exist outside the DCO.

I'm looking at the schematics now. And there's a info box on the
bottom right of file 2 stating, that the outputs of IC-12 (a 8 to 1
analogue multiplexer) have the function "Each EG signal of 8voice is
coming out."

Now the problem is, which one to use. While in quasimono chord mode
you could probably use anyone. You would have to make a difference
between Osc1 and Osc2 though.

Btw. have a look at this page for descriptions of used ICs.
