HELP! My poly's all wonky!

HELP! My poly's all wonky!

2005-09-12 by lmulvogue@iinet.net.au

Haven't touched my poly in a while, and just remembered why. (well, apart from
not having the time or space...)
After a fairly short period of playing (say 10mins), modulation of the DCO
starts creeping in. Don't know if it gets worse and worse, as I usually turn it
off in frustration at this point.
It's the same sound as if I had the joystick slightly up from neutral. Could
somehow it just be some miscalibration of the joystick axis? But it seems to
not appear for a period of time, and then kinda creep in.
Any thoughts?

I have the cutoff/resonance trimpot bypass mod done (ie. the "non-slayer"), but
I don't believe this would affect it in any way (had the mod for quite some time).

I use the joystick a bit, but only for VCF modulation and occasionally
pitchbend, virtually never for DCO modulation.

Thanks
Lee

PS. If there's a Brian on this list who contacted me via my web contact form RE
painting the poly, you didn't leave your email address. I've put a note on the
site about the paint.
