My ex800 needs new buttons. Korg pretty much laughed at me when i rang them up... Anyone know a good alternative part? Im not so bothered about the numbered keycaps, as i can engrave them myself, but the switch needs to be the same physical size and pin layout. Suggestions gladly accepted. Cheers, Julian (england)

I have a P800 which i just parted out. It wouldn't power on, so i took what i needed and now i'd like to send you, him, anyone, the still-useful-as-a-parts-machine keyboard (for the super low price of $10 plus actual S&H). Basically it's complete except that it won't start up, and that my parts have been taken. This means one complete set of keys are missing (which means there are no end keys, and one of each type [i think there are 9 plus two blacks] are taken as well. There are a couple other keys missing from the keyboard, but there is at least a complete set of key shapes, plus a bunch more. There is also no joystick assembly. There is no slider-knob assembly. There is no cover knob for the joystick. There is no cover plate for the joystick. There are no knobs on the sides for strap-o-rama. This is a Poly800 I. Not a II. No power source. No manual etc. Make me an offer. All the internal boards except for the sliders and joystick are there. All the other buttons on the face are there. The faceplate is in good shape except for some sticker goo, so if you have a crappy one you may want to swap this one out. I'll email photos. any takers? --- In korgpolyex@yahoogroups.com, "Julian" <julian@2...> wrote: > > My ex800 needs new buttons.
